Certified Receivables Compliance Professional (CRCP)

Applicants seeking the CRCP designation must complete continuing education on approved subject matter from RMAI and/or one of its Authorized Education Providers (listed below). Education must come from live classroom settings or webinars.

CRCP for Chief Compliance Officer of a Certified Company

If seeking company certification, it is a requirement that at least one (1) individual obtain the CRCP designation to fulfill the Chief Compliance Officer duties outlined in the certification program.

If replacing a current Chief Compliance Officer of a Certified Company, it is a requirement that the replacement is already CRCP certified or, if not, obtains their CRCP designation within six (6) months of taking on the Chief Compliance Officer role.

Educational Requirements

Initial Certification Requirements

  • 24 education credits must be completed every two (2) years.
    • A minimum of 8 credits must be taken in a live classroom setting. (This requirement is currently being waived through 12/31/2021)
    • A maximum of 16 credits can be earned via online webinars.
  • 4 education credits must come from the Introductory Survey Course on Receivables Management.
    • Offered live at RMAI’s Annual Conference or as a pre-recorded webinar online.
  • 2 credits must come from Industry Ethics.
    • Offered at all RMAI conferences or as a pre-recorded webinar online.
  • 1 credit must come from Diversity, Inclusion & Elimination of Bias
    • Offered live at RMAI’s Annual Conference, Executive Summit or as a pre-recorded webinar online

Renewal Certification Requirements

  • 24 education credits must be completed every two (2) years.

    • 1 credit offered live at RMAI’s conferences or selected recorded webinars online
