DBA Creates Bud Reitzel Lifetime Commitment Award

DBA International has created the Bud Reitzel Lifetime Commitment Award to recognize an individual for outstanding leadership and dedication to the debt buying industry. Bud is considered one of the debt buying industry’s founding fathers. His vision, leadership, and advocacy were instrumental in the creation of an industry that thrives today.
The award is a fitting tribute to Bud’s life, legacy, and the values he impressed on those around him. Bud’s success was a testament to his commitment to honesty, respect for the consumer, and fair treatment of everyone he encountered.
The award will be presented each year at DBA’s Annual Conference to individuals who have demonstrated the ideals, principles and work ethic that Bud so firmly believed in. The selection committee will be chaired by DBA’s current Past President and members will include DBA’s Executive Committee.
