RMAI leadership lobbies on behalf of members in Albany at the New York Capitol. Top issues included data privacy, licensing, and amendments to the proposed DFS rules.

RMAI’s General Counsel David Reid returned to Carson City, Nevada in June to finalize amendments on SB 276 and testify before the Assembly Commerce and Labor Committee.

RMAI leadership co-hosted a fundraiser with NCBA and ACA for Congressman Andy Barr during a visit to Washington D.C. in April. Congressman Barr, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, is a champion for the industry and a valued voice on Capitol Hill.

RMAI Leaders had a full day of meetings on both the House and Senate sides in September.
