Vancouver, Washington: Corporate Social Responsibility is a welcomed trend in corporate America. DBA Member Acctcorp International Inc. & its collection agency Accounts Receivable Inc. has worked for years to provide ethical and fair services as well as invest in the betterment of the community in which they operate. This month Acctcorp/Accounts Receivable Inc. will celebrate the 5 year anniversary of Wayne Garlington’s association with Open House Ministries. Mr. Wayne Garlington is on currently on leave from his position with Acctcorp to serve as Open House Ministries Executive Director. Mr. Garlington is blending his many years of private business experience with a heart for those living on the margins of society to make a difference in his community.
Open House Ministries provides housing, counseling, education, on the job work training to over 30 families at any one time. Many of these families were homeless or under housed and under served in the community, stuck in a familial cycle of poverty. Open House is a faith based non-profit located in Vancouver, Washington. They are currently embarking on a $2.5 million dollar facility expansion project in which all the funds were raised through private donations.
Acctcorp International Inc. has been involved with DBA since attending the 2002 conference and obtained the Certified Professional Receivables Company designation in August 2014. They buy and service their portfolios through their associated collection platform Accounts Receivable Inc. in the states of Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
