Sacramento, CA, November 7, 2014 – DBA International, the voice of the debt buying industry, today announced the addition of Helen Mac Murray as its attorney general consultant and Perry Communications Group, Inc. (PCG) as its new public affairs agency.

A founding member of the highly regarded law firm Mac Murray, Petersen & Shuster, LLP, Mac Murray is a government relations and litigation expert who will work with DBA International to educate state attorneys general and their staff on issues of concern to the association and its members. Prior to joining MPS, Mac Murray served as Chief of the Ohio Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Section. During her tenure, the section was named the “National Consumer Protection Agency of the Year.”

DBA International has also retained PCG, an award winning, full-service strategic communications firm. Under Kassy Perry’s leadership, PCG will develop strategic communications, public affairs and media relations strategies for DBA International and its members. PCG has extensive experience working with trade associations managing complicated issues affecting the public, regulators and lawmakers
