We look forward to seeing you next week for the 19th Annual DBA International Conference—Moving Forward Together—taking place February 9–11, 2016! It’s going to be beautiful weather in Las Vegas averaging in the low 70’s for the week—for some, it will be a great opportunity to thaw out. And the weather will only be surpassed by the great networking opportunities, quality education sessions, and solutions-oriented exhibit hall you’ll experience. All conference events and education sessions take place at the Aria Resort & Casino. Below are some important tips and reminders to help you prepare for a great conference:
Transportation to and from the airport
DBA has arranged for LASxpress to provide discounted one-way or roundtrip shuttle transportation for conference attendees. There are often long taxi lines at the airport; make a reservation in advance with LASxpress and avoid the line. Click here to make your reservation.
Aria Hotel Check-in
Hotel check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 12:00 pm. Be sure to check out of your hotel on Thursday morning before you come to the sessions as the training ends after check-out.
On-site Registration and Pre-Registration Check-in
You can pick up your conference materials and name badge at the registration desk located on the first level at the Aria. Name badges must be worn at all times in the conference area. The registration desk will be open the following days and times:
Monday, February 8 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Tuesday, February 9 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
Wednesday, February 10 7:00 am – 6:30 pm
Thursday, February 11 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
Agenda & Pocket Guide
The conference program book includes the agenda, sessions, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors to help you plan your time at the conference. You’ll also get a Pocket Guide with your name badge; this is a handy tool for checking times and locations.
Mobile App
Up-to-date conference information is available on DBA’s mobile app and event guide. The mobile app is a valuable tool for making DBA’s annual conference an educational and interactive experience. Download the app on your smartphone at http://eventmobi.com/dba2016.
Attendee List
View the current attendee list here. The attendee list on the mobile app will be updated daily at the conference to include all of the onsite registrations.
Presentation Materials
The presentation materials used by the speakers and panelists are available on the Mobile App before, during and after the conference. You can also print materials at the print station in the Attendee Lounge.
Education Credits & CLE’s
You can earn up to 15 education credits towards certification between all the Tuesday through Thursday sessions. You will receive a Continuing Education Credit Form in your conference bag to make keeping track of your credits easier. Keep hold of all of your forms until your submit your application for individual certification. If you are looking to get CLE credits during the conference, please visit the DBA information center inside the Attendee Lounge to get your credit form. Some states require daily sign-in and these forms are also at the DBA information center.
Certification Help
DBA staff will be available in the Attendee Lounge during the conference to answer any questions you have about certification or help you complete your application. There will be a special desk set up by Registration at the conference close on Thursday to receive any applications.
