FTC Hosts Final Debt Collection Dialogue
Complimentary event on November 18 in Atlanta

The Federal Trade Commission issued a press release announcing the third of its Debt Collection Dialogues in Atlanta, GA on November 18, 2015. The Office of Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens will co-host the event. Earlier Dialogues were in Buffalo and Dallas.

At the Atlanta event, representatives from the FTC and other federal and state enforcement agencies will attend, as well as debt collection industry leaders and professionals. The discussions will center on enforcement actions, consumer complaints, compliance issues, and industry best practices. The federal and state representatives will also answer questions from industry members and others who attend, including questions about how regulatory enforcement actions are investigated and pursued. Brett Soldevila, the Chief Compliance Officer at Security Credit Services and the chairman of DBA International‘s certification standards committee will participate on a panel.
