Don Maurice retained to provide legal counsel to debt buying industry
Sacramento, CA, October 21, 2014 – DBA International, the voice of the debt buying industry, announced the addition of Don Maurice as a legal consultant specializing in state and federal legislative activities.
President of Maurice & Needleman, P.C., Maurice brings more than 25 years of experience representing the financial services industry in trials and appeals of individual and class action lawsuits to DBA International. Maurice will provide analysis of recent judicial, legislative, and regulatory developments at the state and federal level, represent DBA before various groups and regulators, and provide legal guidance to DBA’s membership.

Maurice is Chair of the American Bar Association’s Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Subcommittee, Business Law Section. He is also certified as a Creditor’s Rights Attorney by the American Board of Certification and is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey, New York and the District of Columbia.
