Crown Asset Management, LLC (CAM), a leading purchaser of charged-off debt and RMAI “Certified Professional Receivables Company”, was recently selected as one of the 2020 Best Places to Work in Collections.  The program, now in its 13th year, is administered by Best Companies Group, which conducts over 60 local, national and industry “Best Places” programs each year.

This survey and award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in the Collections industry. This year, 51 companies met the standard to be selected. The Best Places to Work in Collections list is divided into three size categories: Small (15-49 employees), Medium (50-149 employees) and Large (150+ employees).

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
  • Be a publicly or privately held business
  • Have a facility in the United States
  • Have a minimum of 15 employees in the United States
  • Must be in business a minimum of 1 year
  • Must be a Collection Agency, Collection Law Firm, Debt Buyer, or Creditor Recovery Operation

Companies from across the United States entered the rigorous two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Collections. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Brian K. Williams, Crown Asset Management, LLC manager and CEO said: “CAM is honored to have been chosen as a best place to work. Knowing there were many great companies who were also considered in this challenging multi-part program makes us very proud of achieving this recognition.  Having earned the trust and respect of our employees, as demonstrated through their feedback and the overall program results, is very gratifying.  The CAM team results confirm a culture and environment of mutual respect, dedication and commitment to hard work, as well as a company where its employees are proud of the work they do, the people they work with, and of the way we as an organization conduct business in a fair and ethical manner each day.”
