June 26, 2024 (Sacramento, CA) – RMAI is pleased to announce that the Keynote Speaker at the 2024 RMAI Executive Summit will be U.S. Representative Mike Lawler from New York’s 17th congressional district. Congressman Mike Lawler will provide a comprehensive update on the latest developments from Capitol Hill. The 2024 Executive Summit will be held from August 6-8, in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM.  This intimate event delivers a blend of networking and high-level education, in a location especially chosen each year to enhance the attendees’ experience.  Registration is open.

Congressman Lawler’s keynote promises a timely and insightful update on Washington’s legislative landscape, providing Executive Summit attendees with a deeper understanding of current political dynamics and the future direction of federal policy. Scheduled amidst a dynamic political landscape, Lawler, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, will address the recent testimony of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Director Rohit Chopra and the ongoing debate of CFPB-related legislation, including bills on CFPB funding and UDAAP. Congressman Lawler will also touch upon the challenges of navigating a politically divided Congress and share his strategies for advancing meaningful legislation.

Congressman Lawler serves on the House Financial Services Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Prior to serving in the U.S. House of Representatives, Lawler represented New York’s 97th District in the State Assembly where he served on the Committees on Aging, Banks, Education, Housing, and as the Ranking Member on Governmental Operations.

The RMAI Executive Summit delivers a mix of education sessions and networking interactions. Often touted as the best event of the year, attendees also rate the Executive Summit the best value for learning the latest in receivables management compliance, legal, and operations, while engaging with industry colleagues from all lines of business.  The education programs are interactive with discussion encouraged, and RMAI offers a wealth of networking gatherings, from shared meals to relaxed evenings at the firepit.
