November 29, 2022 (Sacramento, CA) – RMAI is pleased to announce that the Keynote Address at the 2023 RMAI Annual Conference will be given by Dan Simmons, Senior Director of Research at TransUnion, who will speak on recent trends affecting the receivables management industry. The Keynote Address is sponsored by January Technologies, Inc., a tech-enabled debt collection agency. The 2023 RMAI Annual Conference will be held at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas from February 6-9, 2023. This is the premier event in the receivables management industry, and registration is now open.

Simmons will share his insights and interpretations of the consumer credit environment so that attendees can apply them to their specific businesses.  With a backdrop of key macroeconomic trends, Simmons will dive into the details of originations, balances, delinquencies, score distributions and charge-off trends for major lines of business, such as auto, card, mortgage, and personal loans.   There will be something for everyone, and Simmons will emphasize the most important trends to watch in the market today.

Simmons provides insights on consumer credit risk management and recent trends in the lending industry. With nearly two decades experience in financial services, Simmons spent 12 years working on consulting projects in domestic and international locations (India, Israel, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Vietnam) prior to joining TransUnion in January 2020. In addition to his project work, his background includes directing fraud, collections, customer service and vendor management operations for credit card, retail, powersport and student loan portfolios. Simmons has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Illinois University.
